You are lacking them, full stop.

We pretty much all are, and waiting for an illness or ailment to show up to advertise the fact, is retarded.

You can look for dodgy skin, hair, nails, low energy, blah blah blah, but it’s easier if I ask you a few questions, and you need to be answering ‘yes’ to pretty much all of them;

Do you eat ‘line caught’ fish or any ‘non farmed’ seafood, at least twice a week?

Do you eat liver once a week?

Do you eat beef, pork, chicken or lamb twice a week?

Do you eat at least 1 to 2 whole ‘pasture fed’ eggs (cooked) a day?

Do you eat full-fat everything, butter, cheese, yoghurt, milk and cream, and make good use of coconut oil?

Do you eat a few brazils, walnuts, and or pecans?

Do you use tons of Himalayan, Celtic, or at least another sea salt, on all your meals?

Do you cook with plenty of herbs and spices?

Do you use lemon juice for cooking, or mix with water or tea?

Do you use black pepper? (helps to pull nutrients from food)

If the answers no to any of those on a weekly basis, then rather than wait for symptoms of a deficiency to show up, you’ll need to supplement.

If you don’t eat fish or shellfish, then you’ll be low on DHA and iodine for example.

You can write off vegetables as mere window dressing on your plate, but they are a great excuse to cover in grass-fed butter, that is in fact packed with nutrients you can readily absorb.

Fruits ok when its strictly seasonal, but berries and peppers will give you your vitamin C. Never assume there’s any in an orange you might eat, the numbers quoted in nutrition charts are bullshit, based on the fruit 5 minutes after the orange comes off the tree.

Yours will likely as not be 5 days old before you eat them. Pine needle tea has 10 times as much VitC anyhow.

Above you have a list of just some of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, and yet, what with all the pollution, toxins, EMF’s, and general stress we have to deal with in this modern world, Steve and I still supplement!

We see it as an insurance policy, or ‘belts and braces’ if you like, and even if you could only afford $10 a month, you’d find something worth taking till you can afford more.

Skimp on the rent you pay, downsize your home, share a car, or quit drinking, smoking, gambling, or buying stupid fucking health and fitness magazines, but never ever skimp on your diet and nutritional supplements.

If you do, then you’re kidding yourself about taking health seriously.
